No7 Glycolic Peel Review

I had heard some good things about this kit and after seeing a review from Sophie Shohet I decided to give it a go.

imageYou get 8 little bottles of the peel solution, a bottle of post peel neutraliser and a tube of recovery balm.imageYou apply the peel solution to a cotton wool pad. You are supposed to use the whole bottle but I was a bit nervous as its Glycolic Acid and didn’t want my whole face to peel off, so only used half. Then you rub it all over your face. It acts as an exfoliator and is supposed to minimise pores, brighten dull skill and even out the skin providing a more youthful appearance.

Once you have applied this over your face, soak another cotton wool pad with the neutraliser. Again, apply this all over the skin. image

Finally, smooth some of the balm into your skin.

I don’t know what I was expecting but I was pleasantly surprised. Afterwards my face felt unbelievable smooth and I do think my skin looked slightly brighter. It’s very easy to apply and feels nice (no burning thank god) 😂

I will continue to use it and will let you know if it changes my skin in any other way. I think I will limit the use to once week just because I don’t want to over do it.

So, from one application I would definitely recommend this kit. It’s £25 from Boots but is also part of the 3 for 2 deal so could work out cheaper depending on what else you get.

If anyone else has tried this or has any comments please let me know.

Thanks for reading
