As my holiday to Mexico is rapidly approaching, I went through my wardrobe to see what I needed and decided I needed some evening dresses. I went to the Boohoo website because they offer a great range of plus sized clothing at great prices. I only really wear dresses on holiday so I didn’t want to spend a fortune.

This is what I picked up.

First I got this simple black dress. It’s like a crinkle material which has a slight sparkle to it. I did also order a nude pink colour but had to return it as it was really see through.

Its gathered at the waist so it’s really flattering.

This next dress is my favourite. It’s so pretty.

I never thought this style of dress would suit me but when I tried it on it was really flattering and comfortable. I absolutely love it.

The final dress is black again. I just find black dresses more versatile and you can change the look using shoes and accessories.

This dress has a chiffon overlay which is short at the front and long at the back. It’s really nice and again, very flattering.

I never feel very comfortable in dresses but all of these make me feel great. I cant wait to wear them.

I also picked up these gold shoes from Boohoo.

I really love the Gucci shoes which are similar to these but these are obviously, much cheaper. These look great with jeans I have already worn them a couple of times.

From ASOS I got a couple of pairs of leggings. I know, I know, leggings are not the most fashionable item, but you can’t deny they are practical and again, comfortable ( I have just realised I have said comfortable about 20 times in this blog about fashion. I think I am now officially old).

This pair is leather look with slits in the knees so they are a bit more interesting than plain black leggings. I intend wearing these to travel in when we go to Mexico.

The other pair I got has a mesh panel down the side of the leg so they are a bit different but I know I will get lots of wear from them.

I am loving gold shoes at the minute so got another pair. These are flat, loafer style but I liked the cut outs on the sides.

And that’s it. Hope you enjoyed reading this and seeing what I brought.

Thanks for reading and as usual, welcome any comments.
