At the end of last year I purchased a few more YSL makeup products. I have been using them for a few months now so I thought I would let you know my thoughts.
The first product is the Couture Eyeshadow Palette. I got this in shade 1 – Tuxedo.
Like all YSL Makeup, the packaging is lovely. This is a gold compact palette with a mirror, 5 shades of shadow, a double ended sponge applicator and a brush.
The mirror is useful but I haven’t attempted to use the applicators as they are very small so I would rather use a full size shadow brush.
The shadows are grey and black and there is also a silvery white shade which is perfect for highlighting your brow bone and inner eye area.
The colours are beautiful and blend very well together. They also are fairly long-lasting so I have never found the need to re-apply half way through the day.
I do really like this palette but to be honest, I have a L’Oreal eyeshadow palette which is just as good. The Loreal palette cost £15 and the YSL one is £43.00 so unfortunatly I don’t think I would buy it again.
I got shades 41 and 52. 41 is a peachy colour –
52 is a lovely pink shade.
I have worn these to death since I got them. There are three reasons why I love these YSL lipsticks so much –
- The lipstick contains 6 sensorial oils so is very sheer and balmy it feels amazing on the lips. Very moisturising.
- The packaging – Its stunning.
- The smell of these is amazing. They smell really fruity and tropical.
They are quite an expensive lipstick but I think they are well worth the £27.00 price tag.
