Current Favourite Beauty Products

I have never done a blog on current favourites so thought I would give it a go. I did find it quite hard to narrow down the number of products to include because I realised that I use quite a lot of products…..!

But, in the end, I decided on these –

Estee Lauder Double Wear

30428992_UnknownI have been using this foundation for over a year now. Its achieved its fantastic reputation for a reason. It’s a medium coverage that’s buildable to full coverage and it lasts. It lasts all day and looks as good at the end of the day as it did at the start. I have very sensitive skin and  certain products cause breakouts but this really suits my skin so this is a definite favourite that I would not want to be without.

By Terry Celluarose Brightening CC Serum

30429152_UnknownI love love love this product. I have this in shade Sunny Flash and I either apply if before my foundation or a mix it in with the Double Wear, and it gives skin a lovely dewy finish. On days I don’t want to wear makeup I just wear some of this. It adds colour and has light diffusers so really makes skin glow.

This product is quite expensive but 1 pump is all you need so it lasts for ages and in my opinion, its well worth the price tag. Oh, and it smells like fresh roses – its beautiful. I have done a separate blog on this click here to read more – By Terry CC Serum.

Nuxe Oil

30429120_UnknownThis oil is so useful. I use it for my skin, cuticles and hair. It’s a dry oil so it doesnt leave you all greasy, it soaks in well and is really hydrating. It has 6 precious botanical oils so it nourishes, repairs and softens.  A little of this oil goes a long way.  have been using this for 6 months and it looks like I have barely used any. Diorskin Star Concealer

30429024_UnknownThis is the best concealer I have ever used. I have been using this for 6 months and its nearly run out. I will definitely be buying it again. It provides great coverage that’s not at all cakey like some concealers can be. I use it under my eyes and to cover any blemishes. The applicator is loveley and soft too. So many of these type of wands that I have used in the past seem to scratch and drag the skin.

L'oreal Double Extension Beauty Tubes

fullsizeoutput_803This is my favourite mascara ever ! I have used this for years and despite trying others, I always go back to this.

It has 2 steps.  You apply the white lash base coat first, which contains lash lengthening fibres, then, apply the black mascara and the mascara wraps around the lashes in a tube like effect and this makes my lashes look so full and long. I also love that this mascara does not budge through the day so no blackness under the eyes, no crumbling, nothing. The only way to remove it is with warm water.

If you havent tried it – Give it a go, it does not disappoint.

Batiste Dry Shampoo

30428976_UnknownMy hair is highlighted so I need to take care of it and that means trying to protect it as much as I can so I try to keep heat styling to a minimum. I try to just wash my hair twice a week. On the days I don’t wash it I use this Batiste Dry Shampoo. It gets rid of any grease and adds texture and volume.

I have tried other brands of dry shampoo but this one is the best.

Soap and Glory Foot Buffer

30429104_UnknownOk so this is a beauty tool rather than a beauty product, but thought I would include it because I love it.

This buffer is great because it is double-sided so one side will remove hard skin on and the other side will file the skin all smooth. I have tried many different files in the past but this one really works. It’s really comfortable to use too.

O'Keeffes Working Hands and Healthy Feet

30429200_UnknownThese 2 products are not luxury at all and are not really classed as beauty products (I mean, they sell them in Screw Fix !) but I have been using them recently and I am amazed by the results.

I brought these a few months ago for my husband as he does manual work so sufferes with dry cracked hands and feet. He used these products and they really helped his skin.

I decided to try the hand cream one day because I suffer with dry hands and couldn’t belive how soft my skin felt straight away.

So I brought a tub of each for myself and now, every night, I apply the foot cream and the hand cream before bed and I cannot tell you how much better my skin is. My hands and feet feel supple (they used to feel very tight) and are now baby soft. My hands also look less old too becauee the wrinkles that were starting to form have disappeared.

Thanks for reading,

Louise
