Iconic London Liquid Illuminator

I seem to be getting drawn towards more cream and liquid products recently. I am usually a powder girl but I am loving my Chanel cream bronzer and I have my eye on the NARS liquid blush (definitely my next purchase. Let me know if you have tried it). I think they leave you with a more natural dewy look which is perfect for summer.

I love my Gerrard Cosmetics powder highlighter but had seen the amazing results you can get from a liquid highlighter so had to give it a go.

I chose the Iconic London Illuminator as its received lots of hype and seems to be the beauty product of the moment.

I purchased this direct from the Iconic website because as a new customer you can get 10% off.

There are three shades to choose from. I watched a few vlogs on you tube to see what the product shades looked like on the skin and from that, decided that shade shine would be best for me. It’s the middle shade as they have a lighter one and a darker one.

Shine is a champagne tone for a golden highlight.

Delivery only took a few days so as soon as it arrived I had to test it straight away. It comes in a bottle with an applicator that disperses the liquid in drops.

This highlighter is like liquid gold, I could not believe the shine it gives the skin. It is absolutely stunning.

You only need a tiny amount, it would be very easy to overdo it and end up with a big shiny moon face so be careful.

To apply, put a couple of drops onto your cheek bones and then pat in with finger tips. The first time I used it I tried to apply with a beauty blender but the finish was not that great. Finger tips are the best way.

It can be used anywhere – nose, cupids bow, collar bones – wherever you want. You can also add a few drops to your foundation or primer too, although I haven’t tried this yet.

I absolutely love this highlighter and I think it will last for ages as you only need a tiny amount.

Have you tried it yet?

Thanks for reading
