Brow Products – The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

First of all, apologies for the lack of recent posts. I only usually get the chance to blog on a weekend but the last two weekends have been manic so I have just not had the time.

Today I want to tell you about Brow Products that I have loved and ones I have, well, not loved so much.

The Good

I have been using Wunderbrow for a few years now and I love it.

I have very fair, sparse, brows so need all the help I can get from my brow products. Wunderbrow gives me full, natural looking brows. Its kind of like a mascara consistency. It comes in several shades. I use Brunette.

The only complaint most people have with this product is the applicator. It’s a small brush. To be honest, I have got used to it now and find it absolutely fine. When I first used it though I did struggle and used an angled brow brush and dipped that in the product.

I can relax when I am wearing this. I don’t have to panic that I have rubbed half an eyebrow off. Once its on, it won’t budge until you decide to remove it.

The Bad

Sorry Fleur de Force, I love you but I don’t like your Brow Tamer.

I thought this looked similar to Wunderbrow and its nearly half the price so thought I would give it a go.

It has a clear gel to fix your brows in place and a tinted gel to add colour and definition.

unfortunately, couldn’t really see this product on my brows. I had to build and build for coverage but even then it wasn’t great and my brows just felt crusty.

This may be a great product for someone with naturally full, nice brows but it wasn’t for me I am afraid.

The Ugly

So this isn’t really an ugly-looking product, Its packaging is actually quite nice, It’s the Soap and Glory Arch de Triumph.

This is a pencil brow product. Its double ended. The once side is to shade in brows and the other end is a pinky highlighter for your arch.

I loved this concept of this and like the highlighter but the brow pencil is really difficult to use. It drags the skin and brow hairs and in fact it was pulling some of mine out.

It leaves my eyebrow area red and sore so that’s why it has to be the ugly product.

Have you tried any of these? What are your favourite brow products?

Thanks for reading

Louise

  1. I never tried any product of there right here. Now I use brow pencil from L’oreal and I love that, it’s really nice when you apply with it. I will have your review in mind. Thank you for sharing this darling. xx, Christina
