Smashbox Photo Finish Primer

I recently went to Cheshire Oaks shopping and spotted this in the Cosmetics Company Store.

For anyone who has never been in one of these stores, I urge you to go. They do high-end beauty at knockdown prices. I always get my Estee Lauder Double Wear from here as its usually around £20 rather than £32 which is what you will pay on the high street.

For some reason I have never tried anything from Smashbox before. Reviews of their products have always been really good and I love their packaging so I thought it was time to try something.

I decided to try this Photo Finish Primer which was £20. RRP was £30. It’s a foundation primer with Hyaluronic Acid. I love products that contain this acid because it really suits my skin and improves the texture.

The packaging is beautiful. A large, square, clear perspex pot with a black lid that give a satisfying click when you twist it closed.

The primer itself is a silky, creamy texture with a slight peachy, bronze colour which brightens and even’s out skin tone.

I apply this after my moisturiser and before my foundation. Immediately you can see a difference in your skin. I would wear this on days I don’t want to wear foundation as it just lifts and brightens your skin and makes it glow.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAYou can also just apply this on top of foundation as a highlighter  but I have not tried this.

I am really happy with this Primer and I am using it most days. A little really goes a long way so I think its going to last a while. I will be re-purchasing though because I love it.

Have you tried this or can you recommend any other Smashbox products?

Thanks for reading,
