Hola from Mexico!
I am currently in the beautiful El Dorado Maroma resort in Mexico having a fantastic holiday.
Before I came away I was shopping for last-minute essentials in Boots and spotted these L’Oreal Pure Clay Mini Masks. I had wanted to try these masks anyway so thought these mini versions would be perfect to bring on holiday to try out.
Today I tried them.
You get all three clay masks in mini form in this pack. The masks are –
Green – Purity Mask to purify and mattify
Black – Detox Mask to clarify
Red – Glow Mask to exfoliate and brighten
There are instructions on the back of the box and it suggests three different ways of applying.
Unlike normal clay masks, these are designed to be applied together using each one on different areas of the face.
My skin was feeling a little stressed from the sun, so I followed the instructions for the de-stress application.
The masks are all very easy to apply. I used my fingers as I hadn’t got any suitable brushes with me. They all smell lovely and luxurious and are quite thin in texture.
I applied the red one to my forehead, the green to my nose and chin and the black to my cheeks.
It looks from the photo like a 2 year old slapped the masks on my face lol
After relaxing for 10 minutes I washed off the clay using a warm face cloth.
I then applied my moisturizer. My skin had been feeling a bit dry and dehydrated but these made my skin feel much more hydrated, soft and supple. I was surprised how much of a difference they made in just 10 minutes.
I can also get another couple of applications out of these mini pots which is a bonus as I thought I would only get one.
I would definitely recommend these masks and will be buying the full size pots.
Have you tried these yet?
Thanks for reading
