Alpha H Liquid Gold

I love skin care which contains acids. I find they make such a difference to the appearance and feel of my skin. They buff off the top layer of dead, dull skin leaving you glowing and radiant.

I had been hearing great things about Australian skin care brand, Alpha H, and particularly their best-selling product, Liquid Gold. Liquid Gold has won so many awards and has so many claims such as reducing acne scars, reducing pores, decreasing wrinkle depth and the list goes on….

So when I spotted it for sale in a duty-free magazine on a recent flight, I decided to give it a try. I picked this up for the bargain price of £12. It normally retails for £33.50.

Liquid Gold is a toner like consistency and you apply it after cleansing on alternate nights. You pour a few drops onto a cotton wool pad then smooth it over your skin. It can tingle slightly on dry patches but it feels nice and refreshing to apply. Once your skin is dry you can apply moisturiser or you can not apply moisturiser for a more intensive treatment.

I have been using this for a few weeks now and I love it. My skin is the smoothest it’s ever been and I have a few enlarged pores which have definitely shrunk. I think my skin also looks brighter and glowing. I am also surprised by how moisturising this is. If I don’t moisturise after cleansing, my skin usually feels extremely tight but not after using this product.

I will definitely be purchasing another bottle of this because the results are fantastic. and I really want to try other products from this brand.

Have you ever tried this, or any product from Alpha H?

Thanks for reading

  1. I haven’t tried that one, but I got a liquid gold rose in my advent calendar and have been enjoying using it too. I hadn’t tried anything this range before, but was already a fan of toners with acids and the positive effect they have on your skin.
