Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk

OK I know I am probably the last person on the planet to try this infamous lipstick but in my defence I have tried to buy it several times but it’s always been out of stock.

Anyway, I finally got my hands on it about a month ago. Pillow Talk is the most famous nude lipstick ever I think. My lipsticks tend to be pale pink or nude so I knew there was a good chance I would love this shade.

I decided to also get the Lip Cheat lip liner in the same shade. I ordered these from Cult Beauty.

These are the first ever products I have tried from Charlotte Tilbury.

The packaging is lovely. Both products are boxed and look like luxury products.

First of all I love the Lip Cheat. It’s a lovely liner which is a really creamy texture and the shade is perfect and it goes with most of my lipsticks. The only thing I will say is that I prefer the lip liners that are in a plastic case that you twist rather than pencils which you have to sharpen. I find the pencils can scratch your skin and when sharpening, I waste some of the product but that’s just my personal preference.

I will definitely buy Lip Cheat again.

Now on to the lipstick. I love the formula, it’s a Matte finish but it’s not drying at all. It’s very creamy and feels lovely on your lips. Its long-lasting and very comfortable to wear.

It’s a beautiful lipstick but I am just not keen on the colour. It just makes me look a little washed out. I think I suit a more pinky shade of nude.

I would not buy this shade again but I will buy the lipstick in another colour because its such a beautiful long-lasting product.

Have you tried either of these Charlotte Tilbury items? What do you recommend I try next from this brand?

Thanks for reading

Louise

  1. Beautiful images Louise. Why not try the whole collection? I also have Charlotte Tilbury. Try her PIllowtalk eyeshadow quad, and blush, and also her exagger-eyes palette that seem similar but are not. Also, I like her magic foundation mixed with a bit of my magic cream or Aveda moisturizer.
